Randi Molofsky, based in Los Angeles, is the author of "A Girl's Guide to Buying Diamonds" and a noted editor, curator and executive in the fine jewelry and gemstone industries. She is the Co-Founder of For Future Reference, a New York- and Los Angeles-based brand development agency specializing in the fostering of emerging fine jewelry designers. Her 20-year career includes work for top consumer and trade magazines, trade organizations and brands, including serving as the US Marketing and Communications Director at Gemfields, the responsible mining company, where she was nominated for the Women's Jewelry Association's Award for Excellence in Marketing. She likes jewelry so much she named her daughter Goldie.
